Organization mission

To aid and encourage positive development by engaging in joint ventures, direct investment and advocacy on behalf of the community.

Vision for the future

To build an "overarching sense of a larger community" that will draw back former residents, with pieces of six wards coming together in political unity and with a better defined use of 63rd Street and other commercial thoroughfares.

Accomplishments to date

Teamwork Englewood was formed in 2003 to serve as a vehicle for bringing together residents, organizations, churches and businesses in the community. The board of directors has been active and the New Communities Program staff is organizing a quality-of-life planning process.
